MEYCO Altera
Overview The MEYCO Altera is the machine that unites the advantages of wet-mix spraying with the low cost of a dry-mix machine. Designed to fill the void in the medium to small capacity class, it possesses attributes normally found only in larger pumps. The MEYCO Altera is an oil-hydraulically driven twin-piston pump especially suitable for hand-spraying and with small spraying manipulators. Simple in construction and operation it still maintains CE standards of safety. Extremely compact, durable and versatile enough for any site in the world. MEYCO has now produced a second generation incorporating both new and enhanced features that you, the customer, insist on!
Characteristics - Simple CE standard electrical system controls provide fool-proof operation.
- Soft-start protects electric system and motor.
- Two independent oil pressure circuits. Main oil is supplied by a Rexroth high-pressure, variable-flow, axial piston pump. A gear pump provides separate circuit for the dosing pump.
- Setting of the desired dosing values by hand-wheel.
- Peristaltic dosing unit designed for alkali-free accelerators.
- The hydraulically driven peristaltic dosing unit provides constant dosing.Double piston pump with S-tube and change-over cylinders for a positive action.
- Self-sealing, superhard sealing ring and plate.
- Manually operated reversing pistons relieve the conveying system when blocked.
- Tough hopper with vibrator and grill designed for work with steel fibres. Limit switch on grill for additional safety
- Centrally positioned lubrication point for easy service. Utilizes standard MEYCO high-pressure hoses and nozzles.
- Minimum installation and downtimes.
- Low weight is an advantage for transport.
Applications The MEYCO Altera is used for the conveying and spraying of wet-mix concrete. Typical applications include permanent and temporary rock support in tunnels, mines, for slope protection, or in fact wherever sprayed concrete is to be applied. It can also be employed for pumping, grouting and repair work. Being a piston pump it provides much more versatility, in both mix types and potential conveying distances, than a rotor/stator pump of a similar capacity. Pumping of thick and stiff mixes also poses no problem, as the concrete is delivered up to 71 bar. Its compact design enables easy integration into any kind of carrier chassis, or where space is at an absolute premium for example on a TBM or shaft-sinking platform etc. |
