MEYCO Suprema 

Overview

The MEYCO Suprema is for the conveying and spraying of wet-mix sprayed concrete and for the pumping of concrete. It is the very latest development in equipment for the spraying of concrete, It's features are designed for pulsation free spraying and the most accurate and constant dosing possible. It has been now a decade since the first MEYCO Suprema and has now been tried and tested on hundreds of job sites around the world and has been yet further developed. It is now really a product of what is demanded of a concrete spraying machine today and that is, quality "on the wall" and easy operation.   

Characteristics

The MEYCO Suprema has many special features which go together to make it the world's best sprayed concrete machine. Including:

• S-valve with special high pressure control system (auxiliary pump with topped accumulator).
• To prevent blockages, the direction of the feed pistons is reversible. When exceeding max. conveying pressure the pistons reverse automatically.
• The hydraulic cylinders have an automatic stroke adjustment.
• Special push-over system through a proportional valve in coordination with the PLC control system. As the electronically controlled push over system is linked with the material output adjustment the pulsation over the full range of the material flow is reduced to a minimum and at the nozzle hardly noticeable.
• The PLC system supervises, coordinates and controls all functions of the machine. It also determines and checks data which can be printed out e.g. dosing quantity of additives, output capacity (concrete). Errors within the hydraulic or electrical systems will be indicated on the display, cause of malfunctions can be determined through the help program of the PLC and will be indicated on the display.
• Dosing unit for liquid additives. This integrated proportioning unit is infinitely variable, with flanged electric motor which, through the PLC system, is fully integrated into the flow rate adjustment. Setting of the desired values by using the keyboard. Adjustment, once set, the desired amount of additive will be held constant through the interaction of flowmeter, frequency converter and controller. The additive pressure is secured by a pressure switch. Suitable for new generation akali-free accelerators.

• The machine can also be split into two parts a) the flat pack, pumping group and b) the electro hydraulic power pack and control box. This is especially useful when space is very confined, for example in a TBM. 
• Due to the compact design (length 250 cm) the machine is perfectly suited to be integrated into a spraying mobile or mounted crosswise onto any kind of carrier chassis, trailer version is also available  

Applications

The MEYCO Suprema can be used for the conveying and spraying of concrete and also the pumping of concrete. Typical sprayed applications are permanent and temporary rock support in tunnels and mining where a high output, a dust-free environment, low rebound, accurate admixture dosing and a controlled w/c ratio are required. All jobs where quality and efficiency of application of wet-mix shotcrete are a requirement are exactly right for the MEYCO Suprema. Also sites where quality management is practiced cannot look past a MEYCO Suprema with it's accurate dosing and data logging facility.
